There are no "criteria's" as such for making some1 our friend...
you don't have to ask some1 will be my friend, friendship happens naturally ...
When you make some1 your friend, "true" friend, all your criteria's will be automatically be fulfilled.
Be yourself, don't hide things, never lie.. be very transparent, trust and understand.. if you follow these criteria's ... automatically all your criteria's will be fulfilled...
this seems very philosophical - but it works if you understand what these things mean n you do accordingly ...
friendship does not need a perfect person - it its just accepting negative side of your friend same as you appreciate positive side of them..
no person on this earth is bad, its only that few people don't know how good they are n so they just keep showing their negative part.
Make friends, be friendly, Help n never ever hurt..
n you will always gain a true friend.. no criteria will ever matter then ...

1.) love = heartbeat/sec (looking at some one special) <3
2.) beautiful thoughts per hour (some times per seconds) (:D)
3.) numbers of sacrifices made for her.
4.) (time together - time apart) / time married
each person has its own definition, each person has its own measurement units for love.
so, definition and measurement unit of love is not "One size fit all". it is individually defined and measured.

Loyalty and trust are rare virtues but they are required in true and abiding friendships. When you are loyal to one friend, you prove yourself worthy of many.
Jealousy, envy, and a range of other negative emotions can keep us from being loyal.
But true loyalty overcomes all of them.
Don't force it, let it happen naturally through communication ; it will become strong if it's meant to be. Friendships take time to develop,dear...:)

I dont knw if i can consider this as a criteria but when i think of a friend or friendship what comes to my mind is :

These lines hold true meaning in my life because i have experienced such friendship in my life.
Actually friends are made automatically without any mind set ,no criteria has to be defined for making friend .
one such scenario i remember when i was waiting for a bus and got a very good friend just only by few minutes gossip.
so make friend they without any confusion then by living together we will be automatically adjust with each other.
Well, Personally, I don't think there's anything like "Criteria" to make Friends... We don't really choose a Friend... Friendship just happens, just like Love…
There are a bunch of people out there with different qualities, personalities, beliefs… Its all about how good we gel !! Now there are a few things I believe that defines the bond of Friendship-
1)Understanding
Mutual Understanding makes the Friendship just awesome. Its not always necessary that two persons share the same opinions and Ideology, but despite the differences, they still can be the Best of Friends…
2) Trust
Trusting one another is really important in Friendship. Although it might not always be there right from the Start, but still it can change over time.. There can be different levels of Trust for me.. I can wholeheartedly share thing in my life with some of my friends, coz I have a higher level of Trust in them..
3) Honesty
Honesty is quite important for me, when it comes to Friendship or any relation… A person that agrees with me, just to be on good terms, isn’t a friend. I would rather appreciate a Friend that’s being honest with me and tell me just the way it is.. Coz that’s what Friendship is all about, being Honest and Truthful.
4) The Fun Part
Teasing each other, Little Arguments, Asking each other for a party for just everything, the Hangouts, doing those pranks and all that is always good…
So, for me ,True Friendship is all about being there for each other in thick n thins.. Friendship has given me a lot of Moments to remember and guess what it always puts a smile on my face.
Yes, friendship is about the good things and having fun. But it’s the hard times that separate friends and “real” friends.. And its always a great feeling to look back and see that I’ve got some of the most Wonderful Friends :-)
Hmm I don't think that there should be any "criteria" for making friends..it just happens by its own..
But according to me these things must be there to have a true friendship::
Main thing is "trust"..this holds a very important place in friendship..for eg. if i do something may be its wrong
then he/she should think that i had taken this step due to some reason only..
Next is "acceptance"..Its not necessary that all friends have same opinion or ideology.A friend will accept me and not seek to change me into their ideal of who or what i should be. A friend will enhance my life and not seek to control it, over rule it, neglect it nor damage it.
Other one if "fun"..that is the best part of friendship..i personally have the habit of making fun and pranks,so it
should be taken in this way only..And thanks to all my friends for bearing my pranks ;) ;)
And the last but not least is "fight"..which is equally impotant for all relationship. I mean small small fights are necessary that would increase the mutual understandings.
So for me a friend will run, laugh, walk, love, play, dance, hide and also seek with me and in doing so, they strengthen the friendship and bring beauty to my life.So friendship is all about,,
the love
the moment
the darkness
the laughter
the mind reading silence
the fun
and the memory you will never let go off.
Variety is the spice of life. I am so glad that when I walk into an ice-cream parlour, 'butter-scotch' isn't the only option. People have variety of personalities, talents and interests. Each is a unique by its own. Mixed together we blend to form friends.
I am not always discriminate when making friends. I like all kinds of people from all kinds of different backgrounds. I feel that it is important to accept people as they are.
Loyalty is a rare commodity in todays world, but its an absolute requirement in true and abiding friendships. When you are loyal to one friend, you prove yourself worthy of many.
Friendship takes time to develop. Don't feel offended if you don't bond instantly as best friend.
